Our team, senior students at the American University of Beirut, has successfully digitalized the Byblos Citadel as part of our final year project. Using photogrammetry and advanced 3D modeling techniques, we have created a fully interactive virtual experience that allows users—whether tourists, students, or history enthusiasts—to explore this iconic cultural heritage site remotely. Through our web-based platform, visitors can navigate the citadel, view high-resolution reconstructions, and engage with its rich history in an immersive and educational way. Our goal was to bridge the gap between technology and cultural preservation, making historical exploration more accessible and engaging for a global audience.
